WE NEED YOU!!
As you page through this web site you will see members of our Fire Department involved
in various activities and programs. Examples include teaching, helping people in distress, training for new firefighters,
and fund-raising activities.
Your firefighters are very proud of the tradition of the fire service, that being to, "Protect and to serve ever vigilant
and always on guard."
We take great pride in our equipment, training, and of each other. We are Volunteers.
Whether you choose to be involved in support activites, junior firefighter programs, or becoming the men and
women who help fight fires and treat vehicle accident victims, we have a position for you!
When asked how do you find the time and how can you work around what you see the answer is very simple. Once you do
something that affects the life of someone, such as removing them from a badly damaged vehicle or sparing their home from
fire or just providing comfort to someone, a great feeling grows in you. Work and time spent in the fire/rescue service is a
very small price to pay to help your family, friends and neighbors.
Having the knowledge to face situations and to correct dangerous problems as a team adds to the adventure of emergency
services.
If you have questions or may be interested in becoming part of us, please give us a call at
292-4196 or visit the station at 3700 Davidsburg Road for an application.
Respectfully
Andrew Wallace
