RESIDENTIAL RESCUE-DOVER TOWNSHIP OCT 9-Station 9 was called for a woman who was trapped in her residence. First arriving crews found a woman who fell through a portion of her outside deck. She was caught by a support beam and a gas meter. The deck had been built around the gas meter. Crews had to build a support system for the deck then cut several of the boards away with a saw. A chain come-a-long was then used to pull the support beam out of the way, freeing the woman. She was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Station 9 was assisted by Dover Boro and Lincolnway Fire Companies. Dover Area ALS and Dover Area Ambulance also assisted.

VEHICLE FIRE-DOVER TOWNSHIP SEPT 29-Station 9 was alerted for a vehicle fire. First arriving units found 1 vehicle fully involved in fire. Engine 9-1 made the initial attack and had the fire out within a few minutes. Crews remained on scene for 45 minutes awaiting removal of the vehicle from the scene. A small area of grass was also burned as a result of the vehicle. Station 9 was assisted by Dover Area Ambulance and Dover Boro Fire Department.
