Around 0230 hrs, DTFD was dispatched for a reported structure fire. Engine 9-1 Arrived on scene reporting heavy fire on division 2 side charlie. Engine 9-1 crew stretched an 1 3/4″ hand line and made an aggressive interior attack. The fire was quickly knocked down and crews went back into service.

Around 0740 hrs the previous fire rekindle in the attic and DTFD was dispatched back to the residence. Upon arrival Engine 9-2 reported that division 3 was well involved. Engine 9-2 crew stretched and 1 3/4″ hand line and made an aggressive interior attack. The roof collapsed and injured two firefighters, one Dover Township firefighter and one Manchester Township firefighter. FF Colin Harner from Dover Township was transported to the hospital and released shortly after that, he did not suffer any serious injuries. FF Chris Mowry was transported to the hospital for some minor burns. FF Mowry was discharged the next day.
