DTFD was dispatched to a barn fire on Davidsburg Rd around 4am on Sunday morning. Units from companies 24, 11, 5, 26, 3, 22, 25,112, 89, 99, 6, 66, 33, 8, 2, and 1 assisted on the call. Engines from 66 and 35 stood by at station 9 and 6 to cover the Dover area. Two firefighters from station 9 were transported to York Hospital for smoke inhalation and were released. It took a little over 2 hours to control the blaze, firefighters were on scene for 5 hours.

DTFD would like to remind its residents that when they turn their clocks ahead for Daylight Saving Time, they should change the batteries in their smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors.

Engine 9-1 and Rescue 9 responded to a garage fire in Warrington Township on Detters Mill Rd. 9-1′s crew provided RIT for a short time then went to work helping to control the blaze. Engine 9-1 and Rescue 9′s crew were on scene for 4 hours. An engine out of East Manchester 23 stood by at station 9 to cover the Township.
